Like many personal injury lawyers, I cut my teeth working for the insurance companies but soon found that much preferred working for the other side and have worked representing the injured exclusively since 1988. I see myself as a problem solver. Each client’s case may have several problems, my job is to work until all of those problems are solved. I have always been an argumentative sort of guy. Considering that I spend most of my workdays arguing with insurance companies over my clients’ claims, this personality trait serves me well. There is no better feeling than bringing someone over to my way of thinking, be it an insurance adjuster, a defense attorney, a judge or a jury. The best recognition to me is the fact that so many former clients have returned to me and have sent their family members and friends my way. My hobbies include a love of popular music that I developed at an early age and am still an avid collector, and genealogy research. I have traced my ancestry in this country back to the 1600s and have almost 50,000 people in my family tree.
