Since his admission to the Massachusetts and New Hampshire bars, Tom Flaws has focused his entire career’s work on representing seriously injured people. Tom has fought tirelessly against America’s largest corporations, insurance companies, and law firms to achieve outstanding results for injured people. Today, Tom’s sole focus is on high-stakes, high-value cases. Those cases often include car crashes, trucking wrecks, construction site accidents, product liability cases, premises liability, slip and fall, and negligent security cases.
In 2021, Tom joined Altman Nussbaum Shunnarah, and since that time has resolved some of the largest cases in Massachusetts. By way of example, those cases include:
• $5,5000,000.00. Premises liability, fall on stairs.
• $5,250,000.00. Motor vehicle/pedestrian collision.
• $2,300,000.00. Fall on ice.
• $1,100,000.00. Motorcycle crash.
In addition to his case work, Tom is frequently interviewed by media outlets for opinions on legal matters, as well as high-profile cases he is handling. In recent years, Tom has appeared on CNN, WBZ (CBS Boston), WCVB-TV (ABC Boston), NBC Boston, Boston 25 (Fox), WGN (Chicago), NPR, and in Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly.
Tom is also frequently recognized by his peers for his work. From 2013 through 2018, he was named a Super Lawyers Rising Star by Boston Magazine and Law & Politics. Each year from 2021 to the present, he has been named a Super Lawyer by that same publication. Finally, Tom has performed extensive work mentoring and assisting young lawyers over his career, including being a Director-at-Large at the Massachusetts Bar Association Young Lawyers Division, and a Student Mentor for his alma mater, New England School of Law.
