1,000 Backpacks to be Gifted to Students at 2nd Annual "ANS Back to School Giveaway" in Mattapan, Massachusetts
Boston-based law firm, Altman Nussbaum Shunnarah, prepares kids for upcoming school year
WHAT:
On Saturday, August 19, from 11am-3pm, Altman Nussbaum Shunnarah (ANS) Trial Attorneys will team up with three-time Super Bowl champion and former Patriots’ long snapper, Lonie Paxton,to hand out 1,000 backpacks to kids at the second annual “ANS Back to School Giveaway” hosted at Almont Park in Mattapan.
Open to kids of all ages and from schools across Massachusetts, the experience also will offer complimentary food including hotdogs, burgers, and popcorn in addition to beverages. This family-friendly event also promises a day of fun with carnival games, basketball, Skee-Ball, giant Jenga, ping pong and potato sack racing. For those who love to dance, music entertainment will be provided by DJ Pup Dawg from JAM’N 94.5FM.
The backpacks are stuffed with a school supply kit with items ranging from notebooks to pencils to holepunches and more. There is also a backpack designed for first to fifth graders.
This latest initiative is part of Altman Nussbaum Shunnarah Trial Attorney’s unwavering commitment to the community. Dedicated to giving back and filling a much-needed void in student insecurity, ANS hopes to hand out all 1,000 backpacks at the four-hour event. Any unclaimed backpacks will be donated to students at Boston Public Schools.
